In 1951, Maxime Hublet establishes the company
He settles the first sales counter of sawed wood in Forest (Brussels) on the current location of factories VW / Audi factories. He hereby takes profit of his experience of forester acquired in the Belgian Ardennes during the years 45-50 to commercialize boules and square edged in oak and in beech. In 1963 the Maxime Hublet company moves and settles down in Auderghem (Brussels).
Francis Hublet, having succeeded to his father, decides to specialize the activity in the business of deepened oak. In this period, privileged relations with the Belgian sawyers are numerous and also develop very widely in France.
In 1994, the great move
Previously, the HUBLET limited company exercised its activity on two different sites in Brussels area (Auderghem and Grimbergen). To manage better her growth, the company decides to move out south from Brussels to the industrial area of Sauvenière (Gembloux) at only a 30 minutes drive by car. Placed at the crossing of 2 important motorway axes, the Hublet Company settles down on a 2 ha of industrial ground and builds new premises and dryers.
The years of growth
Ever since, the investments continue at the rate of the needs. Three storage halls, representing 4.000 covered m² welcome the stock of dry wood. A new vacuumdryer has completed the installations.
